ARTICLE 1 : DOMAIN OF APPLICATION
The present conditions of sale apply to all the sales concluded by means of the Internet site www.pes-edition.com for the sale of new item.
ARTICLE 2 : DISPONIBILITY OF THE PRODUCTS
To realize the shop window and catalogues of sale, we work with our own data bases, completed with the information of our suppliers. All the references aren’t stored in our reserves. In this way, the offers listed on the website is packaged in the availability of the suppliers. Therefore we can’t be liable for the possible shortages of stock. Every customer is informed by mail or on the invoice about unavailable products.
Important : unavailable products are deleted of our window only if the rupture is indicated to us as definitive on behalf of the supplier (out of stock). In other cases, you can reorder the missing products which will be delivered to you within the limits of store of the supplier.
Soon available articles are proposed on the website for pre-order. They are dispatched from the date of putting on sale. PES cannot be liable for a possible delay of sale.
ARTICLE 3 : PRICES
The prices indicated in euros are net prices, including taxes, except for the transport costs. They may change at any time without advance notice. Nevertheless, the prices indicated during the order will not be modified after its recording.
Books are sold in the respect of the French applicable arrangements and more particularly of the law Lang on the single price of the book. This last one was fixed by the publisher except for transport costs. The price must be paid entirely and in a single payment at the time of the order. All the orders are invoiced in euro and payable in euro. For any delivery outside Metropolitan France, the addressee is liable for the possible customs charges or the local taxes.
ARTICLE 4 : TRANSPORT COST
The transport costs include an expense participation for preparation and packaging as well as for the costs of postage. They are all-in price, made up of a permanent part and of a variable part according to the number of ordered articles. Only the geographic zone and the dispatching mode chosen by yourselves can vary this amount. We cannot group together two distinct orders so the costs of carriage will be invoiced to you for each of them. To avoid paying twice, think of grouping together all your articles on a single order.
ARTICLE 5 : PAYMENT
You have the use of several payment facilities offering the maximum of security guarantees.
You can pay:
- - by card of bank or privative card (Credit card, Visa card, Eurocard/Mastercard, American Express, “Carte Aurore”), by indicating your card numbers without space between the figures, and its expiration date. The data capture is reassured by encoding SSL.
- - by check in euros (only for delivery in France), compensable in a French bank and payable to PES. Send your check in the back of which you will have noted the number attributed at the end of your order, at the following adress:

The check is cashed with the order.
- - by international transfer.
- - by money order, sent to the adress above. You will have noted the number attributed at the end of your order on the back of the money order.
ARTICLE 6 : DELIVERY
Whether you are in France or abroad, we deliver you at your domicile.
The delivery period includes the time of the parcel preparation and the time of routing. This period is on average of 8 days for France, but it isn’t an exactness period. PES can’t be liable for a possible delay of delivery.
Attention: If you pay by check, the order will be treated only after its reception by mail. So, you have to add to the delivery time this reception period.
ARTICLE 7 : TRANSFERT OF PROPERTY – TRANSFERT OF RISKS
The property transfer of products for the benefit of the buyer will be carried out only after complete payment of the price by the buyer, whatever is the delivery date of these products.
On the other hand, the risks transfer of products loss and deterioration will be carried out at delivery and reception of those products by the buyer.
ARTICLE 8 : EXERCISABLE LAW
All clauses presented in these conditions of sale, as well as all operations of sale and of purchase, which are aimed at it, will be subjected to the French law, Courts will be those within the juridiction of Aix in Provence, city of the PES’head office where is formed the contract between the contracting parties.
ARTICLE 9 : BUYER ACCEPTANCE
The present conditions of sale as well as the price lists are expressly approved and accepted by the buyer, who declares and recognizes to have of them a perfect knowledge. As a result, he gives up availing himself of any contradictory document and notably, its own general conditions of purchase, the act of purchase entailing immediately acceptance of the present conditions of sale.
